The Challenge
Tectonics needed help designing and developing a new responsive WordPress version of their existing website. They wanted to improve site organization and usability so users could find information easier. They also wanted to increase leads and organic search rankings.
The Solution
Using establish brand standards and collateral sales materials, I designed a site with a clean aesthetic and generous amounts of white space. The design features large imagery along with angles and shapes as well as strategic use of dark backgrounds and red accents to highlight important information. Calls to action to request a sample or quote are clearly defined at the bottom of each page and with well-placed popups.
The WordPress backend was developed to easily allow Tectonics to update their catalog of products and page content. Sticky navigation that updates along with scroll position helps visitors navigate easily throughout the pages. I developed individual lightboxes with all relevant fabric specifications and details that match the print sales sheets and look great on any size screen.
The new site design and development along with Tectonics’s marketing efforts increased ranking keywords by 1000%+ and generated 450 times more leads. I continue to support Tectonics with ongoing website maintenance.
