2015, by the numbers

If you saw my 2013 and 2014 recaps, you’ll notice that something is missing from my 2015 by the numbers. Candy Crush. I quit…proving you can, in fact, have too much of a good thing.

However, after returning from maternity leave, I did re-introduce something I had also given up and very much missed—coffee! My long lost friend, I’m back. We’ve been reuniting to the tune of some four cups a day, and I’m proud to say it, darn it. (Pausing to take a few fantastic sips right now.) Coffee makes me happy. So does this handy little recap of my 2015:

  • responsive websites designed + developed – 31
  • total twitter followers – 554
  • blog posts written – 18
  • Articles written for HOW – 4
  • newsletters sent – (see them all!)
  • new newsletter subscribers – 141
  • number of babies born – 1
  • number of months on maternity leave – 3
  • conferences spoken at – 1 (WordCamp Atlanta)
  • times per day I thank my Keurig for existing in the world – at least 4
  • times per day my Keurig replies – once (somewhere around that 3rd cup when it says, “Just one more!”)
  • number of new packages created – 1 (it’s my new maintenance package)
  • simple client intake processes defined – 1 (check it out and copy it)
  • rank achieved on Google for the search term, “Atlanta WordPress Developer” – 2
  • design principles (with examples) shared – 7 (read ’em)
  • sidebars I said goodbye to – 1 (no time for sidebars in 2016!)
  • FAQ pages created – uno (see the Q&A here)
  • Times I played Mario Kart with my son – countless

Here’s to more success and more coffee for all of us!

Happy 2016.
